These albums will fit nicely on most any bookshelf and measure approx. 7 3/4" x 5 7/8" each when folded. The first 3 panes are designed to hold four Presidential $1 coins per year they are released from 2007-2016. The 4th pane is a paper flap with information on US Presidents in the order that they served in office along with the dates of their birth and death.

Inside the album it has the year for each series of coins over each row of holes and then over the center of each the holes has the President's names and the years they served in office.

The issuance dates for the first 38 presidential dollar coins are certain, carrying us until the year 2016. How many new presidential coins that may be minted beyond that is dependent on the number of living former presidents who die prior to 2014 because in order for a president to be on the coin he must have been dead for at least two years prior to the minting.

The United States is honoring our Nation’s presidents by issuing $1 circulating coins featuring their images in the order that they served, beginning with Presidents Washington, Adams, Jefferson and Madison in 2007. The first dollar coin was released on Feb 15, 2007. The United States Mint will mint and issue four Presidential $1 Coins per year, and each will have a reverse design featuring a striking rendition of the Statue of Liberty. These coins will have the inscriptions for the year of minting or issuance, "E Pluribus Unum," "In God We Trust" and the mint mark around the edge of the coin instead of on the front or back. The size, weight and metal composition of the new Presidential $1 Coin will be identical to that of the Sacagawea Golden Dollar.
